Unfortunately, our stay did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness or safety. The property was not clean upon arrival. There was hair, glitter and sticky spots on the floor. The door knobs also had a sticky residue on them. The listing failed to disclose just how loud the surrounding nightlife is. The club across street had music shaking the unit until 2am. There was shooting out front shortly after close keeping us awake until 4 am with cops and people yelling. There are much better areas and places to stay in OTR for the same price.
Amazing
This apartment is in a great location! Just a short walk to many great restaurants. We really appreciated the list of favorite restaurants, bars, activities, etc. that Chris and Chris provided. Super helpful! We stayed on a Saturday night and definitely needed our sound machine to help block out the club across the street and drag racing cars. We parked in the recommended garage just a few short blocks away.
