It’s a great space. Living room was comfortable. AC worked very well. The location was awesome. We had a wedding at the monastery center, could not have been more convenient. Very happy with our stay!

I want to say first that the hosts were very responsive, and I would definitely stay in another place that they host (they have multiple properties). The location, too, was very interesting, and you are definitely paying for location! If you are a young person who doesn't have to worry about backs or knees, this is a unique loft unit that I would highly recommend. For those of us in middle age, the bed was pretty creaky and sunk in the middle (it was a spring mattress with lots of give, for those who care about mattress firmness), and going and up and down the stairs from the bedroom to bathroom (bedroom in the loft and the bathroom on the main level) led me to discover that my knees are, in fact, creaky in the morning. However, if a person doesn't care about such things and is looking for a unique place in a cool part of town (not walkable to downtown, mind you, unless you like scaling very steep hills that are not quite mountains but almost) with a parking spot, then do try it!
