One of the largest, most intact historic districts in the United States, Over-the-Rhine, has been the location of heightened gentrification efforts for the city of Cincinnati. In recent years there has been a burst of restoration and development, with hundreds of newly opened boutiques, restaurants, bars, breweries, and other businesses. Over the Rhine, is home to Cincinnati's best and most numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, parks, and even two breweries in walking distance. We're walking distance to TQL Stadium, Washington Park, Music Hall and the spaces where the Opera, Ballet, and Symphony play. If you're here for the baseball game, Great American ballpark is just over a 1 mile walk (or rather, hop on the Streetcar a few blocks away!). We're also one of the country's largest intact historic neighborhoods, with an absolutely beautiful stock of charming Italianate architecture.
Please note that the building does not have private parking, but there is a garage at Washington Park, and an inexpensive pay lot a 5-minute walk away (0.3 miles walk). Once settled, you can easily walk to or from most areas of Over the Rhine. Alternatively, you can hop on the streetcar (for free) a few blocks away. The streetcar will take you all the way north to Rhinegeist brewery (also walkable) or south all the way to the Riverfront and the ballparks. Uber, Lime, Bird are ubiquitous and you can get almost anywhere you want on them!

Place was very nice and it was a nice area there was plenty to do nearby
Our large group felt right at home in units 2A & 3A. Furniture and beds were all comfy. We loved being right IN the market! With all of the amazing places to eat, we didn't need the kitchen areas as much but they gave us more space to hang out. The back patio and elevator were the icing on the cake for us.
The building itself, very cute, modern and very clean! The patio, also very nice to gather on and enjoy a nice day. Draw back is you can end up sharing your patio with strangers. PERFECT place for opening day parade! We could easily walk down to the parade and go back up to our room as needed. As far as the surrounding area, this is to no fault of the host it may have been the fact that it was through the week and opening day. Several surrounding businesses including ones in the market were either not open at all, closed very early (by 4pm) or just straight up gone. It was difficult to find somewhere to eat. Again may have been the timing or just our lack of knowledge of the area. I will also say after 8pm the surrounding area can get a little unfavorable, I would not have been comfortable out walking if I was not with our group. If you want to get to a busier area you will need to uber but is very easy to do so or take the Tram for free!
